Universal Storage
Pockets on you, storage at every terminal.
In development
Universal Storage is not on sale yet. Its installation guide, configuration reference and exports will appear here the day it launches. Follow progress on the Discord.
A full inventory built around off-site storage. Your pockets, trunk, stash, or shop on the left; step up to a terminal and your storage opens on the right, a personal drive for every player, shared drives for jobs, gangs, houses, and evidence. Players sort it into bins they name themselves, and every put-in and take-out is a real server-side beat. Fully standalone, with ox_inventory-compatible exports.
What it does
- Pockets on the left, storage on the right. Open your pockets anywhere. Stand at a terminal and your storage opens beside them, a personal drive for every player, plus shared drives for jobs, gangs, houses, evidence, and impound. Away from one, the pane reads No signal and points to the nearest terminal.
- Storage players organise themselves. Every drive is sorted into bins players name, colour, and give an icon. Rows are an icon, a name, and a count, no item pictures, no slot grid, and one search covers your pockets and every bin at once. Capacity is a plan players upgrade at any terminal.
- Putting something away takes a real moment. The stack leaves your pockets at once and lands a beat later. Walk away, close the panel, or disconnect and it comes back. It all happens server-side, so a player dumping a weapon during a traffic stop can be caught mid-transfer, and police scripts get an event.
- Shared drives with rules anyone can read. Member, manager, and owner roles come from job or gang grade, and managers can lock any bin so only they can take out of it. The rule shows as one plain sentence, never a permission matrix. Evidence drives log every send and release, and a bin that has held evidence can never be deleted.
- Runs on anything, speaks ox_inventory. No framework, database, or other Universal product required. Qbox, QBCore, and ESX are detected automatically, and storage moves to oxmysql when it's running. Item exports keep ox_inventory's names, so existing scripts keep working, and a bin works anywhere a stash id does.
